Honda S2000 Bumper Repair Kit Installation Guide
✅ What You’ll Need for prep work and installation:
- Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and clean cloth (recommended)
- 120 or 180 Grid sand paper
- Clamps
- Epoxy glue
Fitting Instructions:
1. Prepare the Surface
- Clean the area under the bumper taps with IPA and clean cloth or paper tissue.
- Roughen the bottom surface of the bumper tabs with 120 or 180 Grid sand paper, this is to help the adhesion for the glue, this applies for front and rear bumper taps.
- Ensure the surface is free of dust, dirt, and grease.
2. Align and glue the taps
- Clean the metal plates with IPA prior to applying the epoxy glue.
- Mix epoxy glue and apply over the surface of the metal repair kit plate on the side with the logo.
- Make sure it’s properly aligned with the existing taps and holes before clamping the plate in place and securing in place for the duration of curing of the epoxy glue.
